We have just got a hold of some neat comic pop art tops. Comic pop art began it’s popularity in late 1950′s. Popular American pop artists are Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, and Andy Warhol.
Pulp comic books of the 1950s and 1960s features thick outlines, bold colors and Ben-Day dots which are four process colors (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) to inexpensively create shading and secondary colors such as green, purple, orange and flesh tones to represent certain colors, as if created by photographic reproduction. Pop art merges popular and mass culture with fine art, while injecting humor, irony, and recognizable imagery and content into the mix.
