Alexia & Anissa Rodriguez – Singer & Bass player for Eyes Set To Kill

Having performed with heavy hitters such as Kittie, Papa Roach, (hed) pe and Walls of Jericho, as well as on the infamous Warped Tour, Sisters Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez of Arizona’s Eyes Set to Kill set out to create their own take on the male dominated screamo genre.

The pair, along with the other members of the group combine driving emotion with technical hardcore. The result is a fusion of the heavy and the melodic, with Alexia Rodriguez’s vocals soaring high over the thunder of chugging guitars and ground shaking drum beats. Together they create a sound that far exceeds the boundaries of the genre and Sidecca caught up with the amazingly talented Anissa to see how hard it is to be a girl in this scene.
