It’s Halloween!

One of the best holidays out there has got to be Halloween!  Who doesn’t love having an excuse to dress up to the tee in whatever costume you want!  It is perfect for you creative people out there who love to experiment with creating their very own DIY costume instead of opting for the pre-packaged ones that most choose.

And for those of you who are into creating your very own creative one of a kind costume this year, Sidecca is most def your go to spot!  We have come up with a few examples of some awesome Sidecca costumes that you can get you inspired (or maybe you can  just copy).

Trend – Rubber Band Bracelets

You know you have been seeing these around! And if you haven’t, well then just look a little harder!! Rubber Band Bracelets are prob the coolest thing right now =] They are rubber bands shaped in almost anything you can think of! From animals, dinosaurs, sea animals, princess, space, rock star, pirates and on and on we have them! These bracelets also come in glitter and glow in the dark!  They are fun to collect and trade with your friends. We have seen some cool and creative ways people are wearing their bandz, and we wanna see how you rock them!!!

Animal print is a hot trend right now and we are totally loving it! We have everything animal print for your style needs! We have super cute rich jewel toned cardigans in leopard print that would be perfect to throw on over a tight tee/tank/cami with some jeans or make it dressier by throwing it on over a dress! Trend – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Here at Sidecca we totally love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!! So we have completely stocked up on everything turtles so you can be rockin’ in this awesome trend. There are a bunch of awesome tees to choose from from basic greens to a tie dyed v-neck! Not to mention the super cool turtle shell backpack which will for sure make a statement when you wear it! Trend – Fedoras

Fancy yourself in a fedora??  Sidecca has tons and tons of super cute fedoras ranging in styles from straw (natural colors and more) to felt.  We have ones with satin ribbons, floral ribbon, sequin bows, bows, feathers and a bunch more.  Throwing on a fedora is a great way to add some style to any outfit and also protect your head from the sun =]  This is such a cute trend and we love how awesome the celebs in the pic below look in their fedoras.

Trend – Denim

Denim is always a must have and I am sure everyone has a pair or twenty =]  But when talking about denim for this fashion trend, I am talking EVERYTHING denim!  Denim is so much fun to work with, sometimes a challenge too.  Do you wear the same tone jacket with your jeans?  Can you wear a denim blouse with denim jeans?  A personal trend fave is definitely mixing light denim with dark denim.  Check out some of the pics below of the celebs rockin’ denim and see how Alexa Chung rocks a loose fitting light denim blouse with dark jeggings.  Now you obviously don’t have to wear denim on denim to be a part of the denim trend!  Check out Kelly Osbourne wearing her cute denim jacket over a fun floral dress.  Sidecca is stocked up on fun denim items and the perfect accessories to go with the denim look!  Vanessa Hudgins creates an awesome summer look by adding a straw floppy hat to her denim look, and we so have you covered if you want to add a straw hat to you look!

Trend – Polka Dots

Polka Dots are the perfect print for summer! They are so much fun and you can make them classy or super funky, polka dots are just awesome like that. You can rock that classy look by keeping it monochromatic and simple with black and white. Now, if you know Sidecca then you know how we like to be funky and fun with our styling. Trend – Swallow Print

You may have been seeing this bird silhouette print around and been wondering what it is, or maybe you already know.  But for those who don’t…It’s one of prints created by the high end brand, Miu Miu, for their spring 2010 line.  We have been seeing this print in almost every fashion magazine right now from Teen Vogue, Paper Planes Magazine, to even Vogue Australia.  Check out the pic below of a few editorial shots of the Miu Miu swallow print.  So after being inspired by this print, we found a few accessories with a similar swallow print just for you guys!  It’s too cute to pass up so make sure you come on in and check them out!

Trend – Bows

Bows have always been a cute accessory to throw in your hair, but now bows are cool in prints, jewelry, accents, shoes and whatever else you can think of!  Bows are a great addition if you are wanting to “girlie” up your outfit/look.  All different types of people are rockin’ the bow trend like rocker Hayley Williams from Paramore, the very feminine Taylor Swift, to even vampire chick Anna Paquin.  There are so many ways to add bows to your look and Sidecca can definitely help you out with that!  We have tons of bow jewelry/accessories like earrings, rings, necklaces, hair pins, hair clips, and even headbands.  We have a variety of bow printed clothing too, check out our super cute polka dot bow skirt (pic below)!  And if you are looking to add the bow trend to your shoes, why not check out our new arrival of Iron Fist platform heels (pic below).  These zombie chomper platforms come in lime/purple and will add a funky twist to your outfit!
