Sidecca is looking for a District Manager in Southern California.

To help support our growth strategy goals, we are looking for a proven professional to fill the position of District Manager. Sidecca is a casual, fast paced business atmosphere located in upscale regional malls. Our cutting-edge stores are recognized for providing unique products and impeccable customer service.

  • The Sidecca District Manager is accountable for managing several Sidecca stores (currently seven) to ensure an exceptional customer experience; develop teamwork and direct sales staff toward optimal performance; achieve targeted productivity by maximizing sales and profitability; merchandise to company standard to maintain store image; asset protections and cost control in attainment of Company objectives.
  • Team development and motivation of the team are critical aspects of this position.
  • Proven ability to network, recruit, evaluate, train, develop and promote sales associates and management.
  • Proven ability to drive sales goals and ensure revenue targets are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Approach business with a sense of urgency and a “can do” attitude.
  • Assign sales targets, monitor sales progress, and train/correct sales people who are not meeting their goals.
  • Ensures appropriate store staffing in all stores.
  • Train staff to effectively perform all job responsibilities.
  • Assess store morale and resolve all issues.
  • Maintain company standards in all areas of operation.
  • Ensures stores are effectively merchandised to maximize sales.
  • Lead by example, and set the selling floor standard.
  • Ensure compliance with current employment laws.

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years multi-site retail management experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage people, maintaining integrity and trust.
  • Travel at least 70% of the time within the Southern California district to all seven stores.
  • Ability to work a flexible, changing work schedule; regularly working weekend days a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to operate computer lap top, extensive use of Excel and Word.
  • Accuracy in all assigned paperwork.
  • Strong visual merchandising abilities.
  • College degree preferred.
